Collaboration enables fleets to access Michelin’s tire intelligence solutions through Platform Science’s connected vehicle ecosystem

ATLANTA — July 23, 2026 —MICHELIN Connected Fleet, a subsidiary of Michelin, and Platform Science today announced a partnership that will bring the Michelin Smart Predictive Tire solution to the Virtual Vehicle Marketplace, helping fleets improve tire maintenance, reduce downtime, and make more informed operational decisions.

“At MICHELIN Connected Fleet, we are committed to helping fleets shift from reacting to roadside breakdowns toward predictive tire maintenance, supporting safer, more efficient operations through connected tire technologies and actionable insights. Together these empower fleets to act before a breakdown, a delay, or a safety risk occurs,” said Willem Moore, CEO of MICHELIN Connected Fleet. “By partnering with Platform Science, we can bring our Smart Predictive Tire capabilities, powered by Michelin Smart Leak predictive algorithm to more fleets through a scalable digital platform, helping customers unlock greater value from their vehicle and tire data.”

The partnership combines Michelin’s advanced tire intelligence capabilities with Platform Science’s connected vehicle infrastructure, creating a streamlined path for fleets to access actionable tire insights within a scalable digital ecosystem.

“Platform Science is focused on providing the infrastructure that enables innovative transportation technologies to reach fleets at scale,” said Jake Fields, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Platform Science. “By integrating MICHELIN Smart Predictive Tire solution into our ecosystem, we are helping customers access valuable predictive maintenance capabilities that can improve vehicle uptime, operational efficiency, and overall fleet performance.”

Smart Predictive Tire uses advanced analytics and connected vehicle data, including tire pressure and temperature data, to help fleets proactively identify certain key tire issues to take action before they become costly roadside events, promoting reduced unplanned downtime and supporting more efficient fleet operations.

Platform Science’s Virtual Vehicle platform serves as an open connected vehicle ecosystem that enables fleets to deploy, manage, and integrate applications and services across their operations.

The announcement builds on Michelin’s continued investment in connected mobility solutions and Platform Science’s mission to make transportation smart. Together, the companies are working together to deliver a more connected fleet experience that empowers customers with data and insights to make proactive decisions and maximize vehicle performance.
