Collaboration enables fleets to access Michelin’s tire intelligence solutions through Platform Science’s connected vehicle ecosystem

ATLANTA — Michelin Connected Fleet and Platform Science today announced a new partnership that will bring Michelin’s Smart Predictive Tire solution to fleets through Platform Science’s Virtual Vehicle platform, helping customers improve tire maintenance, reduce downtime, and make more informed operational decisions.

“At Michelin Connected Fleet, we are committed to helping fleets operate more safely and efficiently through connected technologies and actionable insights,” said Willem Moore, CEO of Michelin Connected Fleet. “By partnering with Platform Science, we can bring Smart Predictive Tire capabilities to more fleets through a scalable digital platform, helping customers unlock greater value from their vehicle and tire data.”

The partnership combines Michelin Connected Fleet’s advanced tire intelligence capabilities with Platform Science’s connected vehicle infrastructure, creating a streamlined path for fleets to access actionable tire insights within a trusted and scalable digital ecosystem.

“Platform Science is focused on providing the infrastructure that enables innovative transportation technologies to reach fleets at scale,” said Jake Fields, Chief Technology Officer at Platform Science. “By integrating Michelin Connected Fleet’s Smart Predictive Tire solution into our ecosystem, we are helping customers access valuable predictive maintenance capabilities that can improve vehicle uptime, operational efficiency, and overall fleet performance.”

By leveraging Platform Science’s Virtual Vehicle platform, Michelin Connected Fleet will be able to extend the reach of its Smart Predictive Tire solution, providing fleets with greater accessibility and consistency across vehicle deployments while simplifying the delivery of critical tire health data.

Smart Predictive Tire uses advanced analytics and connected vehicle data to help fleets proactively identify tire issues before they become costly roadside events, improving safety, reducing unplanned downtime, and supporting more efficient fleet operations.

Platform Science’s Virtual Vehicle platform serves as an open connected vehicle ecosystem that enables fleets to deploy, manage, and integrate applications and services across their operations. The announcement builds on Michelin’s continued investment in connected mobility solutions and Platform Science’s mission to create an open platform that accelerates innovation across the transportation industry.

Together, the companies are delivering a more connected fleet experience that empowers customers with the data and insights needed to make proactive decisions and maximize vehicle performance.
