FAQs

What is tachograph analysis software?

+

Tachograph analysis software is a system for collecting tachograph data, simplifying the process by automatically retrieving information and converting it into clear, easy-to-understand reports, thereby helping fleet managers review driver activity.

Why is tachograph analysis important?

+

Tachograph analysis is important because it identifies infringements by monitoring drivers’ hours so that fleets meet legal requirements, including EU drivers’ hours rules and the Working Time Regulations, in turn reducing the risk of penalties and safeguarding managers’ licences.

How often should tachograph data be downloaded?

+

Fleet managers must download data from digital tachographs at least once every 90 days to be compliant. This information needs to then be reviewed to confirm that drivers’ hours and rest requirements are being met.
